| R22 Replacement Guide | |
| You may or may not be familiar with R22 refrigerant, however it is being phased out in the United Kingdom. R22 is a hydrochlorofluorocarbon (HCFC) and has been commonly used in air conditioning plant. It is being phased out due to its depletion potential of the Ozone layer and status as a potent greenhouse gas. This legislation will affect any company that has a plant containing R22 refrigerant. We are in the advanced stages of removing this gas from use and production of R22 Plant ceased in 2003. Companies affected by this phase out need to be aware that by 2015 leaks in the refrigeration circuit can not be rectified with R22 gas. Decommisioning and removal of R22 systems need to be carried out by qualified engineers, and be disposed of in the correct manner. It is widely recognised that R22 systems are usually old and technological developments since their phase out means that newer systems are much more efficient. | 1,432 pounds raised and donated to charity in 2008 | |
| AC Solutions Group is proud to announce it has raised and donated 1,432 pounds to charity in 2008. In addition to the monthly donations to the NSPCC we continue to support The Peace Hospice and Happy Days Children s Charity, where we raise money through the 5 a side football team we sponsor by donating one pound for every goal they score and concede. We hope the goals keep going in! | |

| High security project completed.... | |
| Possibly the most challenging job we at AC Solutions Group has faced has just been completed in Central London. The project consisted of installation of over 60 indoor units and 20 outdoor units, after the previous R22 system had been decommissioned and totally removed from the building. The decommissioned units were also recycled via environmentally renowned Daikins Internationals Recycle programme www.daikin.co.uk The job involved a difficult building layout as well as the fact our engineers had to be escorted around the building at all times, however with these restraints the job was still finished on time and within budget. | AC Solutions Group finishes major installation on another high spec residential property. This prestigeous project took AC Solutions Group to Surrey to work on installing 20 indoor units and 5 Condensers. This job was challenging as a tight schedule and deadline was set, to see the whole job finished and ultimately working in time for the client to move in. Needless to say our engineers completed the install on time and within budget to a very high standard, leaving the client extremely happy with our work and keeping us in mind for future works and developments. | |

The units which will be maintained by ACSG were also installed by us. This contract is exciting as this is yet another major organisation we find ourselves working with. | |

| AC Solutions Group Ltd 5-a-side first football season has finished with a win, a major improvement from the first game of the season. We sponsored the team 1 pound a goal for or against; we scored 77 goals and let in a mere 215, totalling 292 goals. Our chosen charities are The Watford Peace Hospice and Happy Days Children's Charity who will each receive 146 pounds. Our new season has started and we will again be sponsoring these two charities, lets hope we can increase the goals scored! We would be pleased to pass on any donations you would like to make to either of these worthy charities. | |
